I might have overreacted a bit.. however.. yes indeed the reason why we post most of the models and stuff is because we want feedback to satisfy EVERY-one.. and I haven't seen anyone really unhappy with the Pyro GX, the missiles, the fullmap model or whatever else I've released so far, IF there is someone, please say and I'll look into it. I'd love to hear every input you have! (the models have been done by-input-only so far...)
BUT .. it is very discouraging when people tell me that I'm a fishfart kid that is trying to carry too much for his own good. I know what I'm capable off, Volition and Outrage know it as well. And of course I'm having contact with them, reviewing my work and they're quite impressed with it.
About the name "Descent 4" .. yes I do have my doubts.. but.. how should I tell the story.. D4.net was my baby a few years ago .. Bama bought it for me.. I was the guy behind the scene.. talking to the V-gods.. most of them .. asking questions that shouldn'T be asked.. and receiving information .. I made interviews with questions where they found out that info came out that shouldn'T have.. I found pre-builts on the net that shouldn'T be anywhere in the net at all .. ..
I saw the game.. if anyone of you already played the RF demo .. see that big bot there? .. that drilling bot? .. that was one of the very first bots in D4.. in the very first testlevel, man it was scary.
And then .. "bang" I got a hit in the nuts "THQ took over the project.. " no Descent rights.. no Descent in the title.. the world went upside down and I was weeks on dope..
.. Maybe now some people can understand better "why" I'm doing this...
